Despues del receso de 20 dias en la Super Liga da China, Dalian jugó en casa contra el Shaanxi Baorong.
El marcador 0 a 0 ofreció muchas jugadas peligrosas, pero el merito de la prensa China fue para Vergara, que según las notícias locales, fue quién desarmó las jugadas más peligrosas en contra su equipo, teniendo una actuación sólida y segura.
La próxima fecha, el Dalian enfrentará al Sanghai, en calidad de visita, en busqueda de la victória para sumar puntos ya que están en la 7ª colocación de la tabla con apenas 6 puntos de diferencia al lider Beijing Guoan.
La hinchada del Dalian está muy contenta con el trabajo de Vergara y han entregado su apoyo a él y a todo el equipo que viene luchando con todas las ganas y deseos para ser Campeón.
